ALDA CIRINCIONE
"When I stand in front of the canvas, I forget everything around me. I paint because it gives me new energy."
As a mother and computer scientist, I found little time for my creative side between children, numbers, bits and bytes. However, in 2010 I decided to dedicate more space to brushes and colors. Since then, I have been immersed in various painting techniques.
My creative journey encompasses not only painting, but also creative calligraphy, collages and Artists Books. After an inspiring trip to Japan in 2020, I immersed myself in traditional Japanese techniques such as Sumi-e and Mokuhanga. These experiences broadened my artistic horizons and have influenced my work ever since.
